Honest materials
Brick, sandstone, natural slate, oak and honed stone. We choose materials that patinate rather than wear out.
About us
Built one at a time
A small Cheshire developer with an eye for detail.
Who we are
Oakhaven Developments
We're a small developer building individually designed homes. We'd rather build one house properly than many in a hurry.
Every project starts with the plot. We look at what the site deserves, then work with architects and interior designers to draw a house that belongs there, in materials that will look better in twenty years than on the day it's finished.
We stay involved from the planning drawings to handover, so the house you walk into is the house that was drawn.
Our approach
From plot to keys
- I
The right plot
We look for sites where a single exceptional house belongs, rather than ones we can pack with homes.
- II
Drawn properly
We work with architects and interior designers so the brick, the stone and the light are decided together.
- III
Built carefully
Everything is checked on site and built to current British Standards, using materials chosen to age well.
- IV
Handed over finished
The landscaping is in, the brass is fitted and every room is ready to live in from the first day.
What matters to us
Quiet quality
Considered interiors
Each home has a full interior scheme, planned at the same time as the architecture rather than added at the end.
Room for nature
Our houses include built-in bat and sparrow boxes, along with hedging and planting that soften the house into its setting.
